jonathan fletcherBiography















Jonathan is a versatile composer with an eclectic musical background. He has worked on numerous projects encompassing a variety of genres and media, including: film, documentary, animation, theatre, contemporary dance, and web-based media.

His work has been screened at Bradford Film Festival, Central Florida Film Festival, Edinburgh Mountain Film Festival, Banff Mountain Film Festival, Honolulu International Film Festival and ReelHeART International Film Festival in Toronto.

Jonathan studied music at the University of Surrey where he was awarded the Graham Smith Memorial Prize for his final year undergraduate composition folio; he was also short-listed for, and subsequently ‘highly commended’ in, the Joyce Dixey Composition Award, presented by the Mechanical Copyright Protection Society (MCPS). After graduating, Jonathan read for an MA in Composition of Music for Film and Television at the University of Bristol.
